CARRÉ CONCORDE

Courtyard design – Paris 8

In the beautifully renovated Carré Concorde building, three balconies were to be planted around reception area, a meeting room and a dining area. Our customer wanted an elegant, sober design, with interest in every season. A few high points punctuate the predominantly low vegetation, allowing for unobstructed views over the rooftops of Paris. To optimize the rather limited space of these balconies, we commissioned custom-made aluminium planters. The colors of these planters, along with the graphic design furniture, are reminiscent of both the rooftops of Paris and the colors chosen by our client for the interior of his offices.

The mostly evergreen plants were selected among a Mediterranean palette. They are resistant to wind and sun and offer a gradation of greens and blossoms in shades of violet and pink.
