Freshly renovated, this bright apartment on the 9th floor of a Parisian building was just waiting for its two terraces to be fitted out to welcome guests. Our customers wanted to hide the railing, blur the skyline to conceal a few buildings that were too visually present, and give the dining and relaxation areas with a bucolic spirit.

Our work focused first and foremost on perspective. On either side of the main terrace, evergreen shrubs conceal vis-à-vis views. Large openings overlooking the roofs of Paris were also designed to preserve the unobstructed view in places where there are distant neighbours. The feeling of space remains, while more intimate spaces have been created within this large plateau.

Terracotta pottery frames and delimits the dining and living areas, enhancing the feeling of being surrounded by greenery. The furniture, chosen in neutral colors and clean lines adds softness and invites to spend a quiet moment in comfort. For this sunny rooftop, our customers wanted a bucolic atmosphere. We opted for a cheerful, colorful plant palette where grasses take center stage, creating a decor that’s both natural and contemporary.
