Located in a new building in a quiet passageway in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, the entire apartment opens onto the terrace via high bay windows. The long terrace is divided into two sections, one dedicated to the dining area, the other to the living area. Our customers’ brief: lush vegetation to soften the cold, mineral feel of this modern building and its surroundings..

We worked on the different views from the apartment to hide the vis-à-vis. High evergreen shrubs protect the dining area from prying eyes. In the living room, we’ve created a little cocoon of greenery around the sofa for a garden-style siesta.

The many and varied species bring colorful flowers to the whole terrace, with green and purple foliage in a variety of textures, the pink of the yarrow and the multitude of perennial geraniums bringing cheerfulness. Terracotta pots add roundness and a touch of soft terracotta color to warm the space.
