We are pleased to welcome Aurélia Wolff from the Whole brand for a trip into history and techniques used to extract dyes from plants. After an introduction into the principles of dying, you will:
– practice those principles and test different fabric samples,
– learn shibori techniques by folding a larger sample and tinting it in indigo,
– make your silk scarf in indigo.
We provide : all the necessary material + a pedagogical booklet + all useful tips and addresses + tea and coffee
You come with : your apron + your questions
You leave with : a notebook full of your own samples, a mid-size shibori sample, a final piece made with your own hands, answers to your questions and the eagerness to try out your brand new knowledge!

Aurélia Wolff, a designer since 2005, has trained in natural dyes before crating WHOLE in 2013. It is an eco-friendly textile manufacture dying in 100% plant-based colors. The project has been thought globally in a responsible and conscious manner. A Parisculteurs project laureate in 2019, she creates in Paris’ 13th arrondissement her first tinctorial plants urban garden, to pursue her objective further. She is the author of “Teintures végétales” published by Eyrolles (2018).
